I don't see how this is a parenting question (?) but yes, if I feel threatened in a public place I will find security to help me, as most normal people would do.

Do you work at concerts or something where you see this person regularly? I do not understand your question.

If someone is bugging me, creepy, crosses the line, etc, I have no problem telling them to leave me alone and I have no problem taking it to a higher level with law enforcement.

What is your question? Yes, call security... why would you not unless there is more to the story that we are unaware of.

You've told him to stay away from you - he's not listening.
Call security - that's what they are there for.
He might not be mentally all there - he might be on drugs - you can't reason with anyone who is unreasonable.
Can you take any pepper spray with you to these events?
What are you going to do if this guy assaults you?

Stop inviting him to concerts or letting him know of your whereabouts? I cannot imagine someone having time to walk an entire concert venue to find a person they can harass for favors. Every concert I attended had staff that demanded you sit or stay at your seat the entire time, unless you needed to use the restroom. Anyone just walking around and blocking others' views would be pulled aside and given a talking or could be removed, if they didn't heed the warnings. Last concert I attended, a guy was super drunk and being loud and obnoxious. I got up to use the restroom and when I came back, my friend said the loud, drunk guy was removed by security personnel.

I got more information from Anne L.'s answer than from your post. I can't imagine why you edited it to provide even less information. You're not going to get much help.

What kind of "favors" does this man ask of you? Is he someone you know? Is he lingering and asking for help? That's annoying. Is he a stranger or someone you know asking for sexual favors? That's sexual harassment.

Short answer with no info: Yes. Call security and tell the management that you're being harassed. If they are not responsive, ask if you should call the police and put some reviews on Yelp that this venue is not safe for women.

If you want to put some info back into your question, do check back and re-read answers because responders will add info as well. If you're just not interested, then you can erase your question entirely or perhaps delete your account. I'm not sure what you're looking for.

My first response was huh? till I read down.

From what I gather, this has happened before and the police were involved.

If he's mentally ill, or not, and he's not responding to no - then just get security next time. Don't even threaten it. That would be my suggestion.

But personally - if he's yelling and done this before? I'd let the church & event organizers know of his behavior. You sound like you're together - but he might be bothering younger women, or people who might not be able to tell him off - in any case, he should be reported. Even if he's mentally ill, it doesn't matter - this isn't acceptable.
