Sony makes a product called dvr direct. You can copy from tivo,vhs to dvd or video camera to dvd it's awesome

I really would like to know too, what did you do to lose that weight and not diet? I am not aposed to dieting, but if there is something that will give me the same results then i am all for it...Please let me know......

It depends on the recording. Many, many things can be, but some networks have encoded their signal with something that makes impossible to put their stuff on a DVD. It is mostly the premimum movie channels that do this though.

You could use a DVD recorder if your show is recordable. Sometimes they are called DVRs. You can find them at the store with the VCRs. They start at about $100. To use it you will need to have the TIVO connected to a TV along with the DVR. Then you just play the show and record in on the DVR kind of like you would with a VCR. When you are finished recording on that disc you have to finalize it to be able to watch it on other DVD players. The instructions can tell you how to do that.

I don't know about Tivo, but I read your "A little about me" and was wondering how you lost your 10 pounds from your 7 year old. I am not over weight but need to lose about 10 pounds or possinly five. Have that stomach hanging from 3 kids and was wondering what you did.
