Comcast.
My husband works for comcast so it is dirt cheap for me!
But honeslty I have had zero issues with cable/phone/internet all on the same network. They only time it doesn't work is when the power has gone out. I have never lost cable service, and not because my husband works there, he's not very responsive to us if there is an issue because he has thousands of "customers" to worry about first! DVR is awesome, some plans let you have DVR on multiple boxes that can DVR seperate programs at the same time!

I have everything through Verizon Fios and really like it. There is a discount when you bundle it all together - it's much less than what you are paying (unless you add premium channels and other extras of course, I don't know what 'optional' things you have added in addition to the DVR).

We have Verizon FIOS and pay $150/month for internet, phone and extended cable with free ShowTime and some other movie channel. It includes the multi-room DVR and 3 boxes (otherwise, our bill would be $115).

The internet and phone are for my work, so my employer pays a large portion of the bill. Otherwise, I don't think we'd be paying for this. We'd probably get an antenna, some Tivo's and start watching stuff online. We've had Comcast, Dish Network and DirecTV in the past, each for at least 3years and Verizon has been our favorite. The customer service has been great, no billing errors, no satellite outages, a DVR that lets us watch 1 show while recording 2 others. They've also been generous with promotions - I saw a commercial for free HBO/Cinemax and called them; they gave it to us for 12mos (which helped with my Entourage addiction).

Good luck!

We have all three (internet, phone and cable) through Verizon Fios and pay considerably less. We also have a DVR which is provided by Verizon. We really like it! We don't lose service when the wind blows (we've had Dishnetwork in the past). We also have our wireless through Verizon and our monthly bills for 3 phones in addition to the other services still don't add up to $260, although we don't have premium channels. We use the DVR many times during the week to tape shows and ON Demand is available as well. We've had the Fios package since it first came out over 3 years ago and have had no reason to make a change.

We have FIOS too. I have no idea how much it cost. I also think there are way too many channels and it is a hassle to go through the guide with so many channels. I rarely watch live TV so when I do it is usually something from the DVR. (The rest of my family likes it though). Personally, I still miss TIVO. Especially the remote control functions. TIVO is much better than FIOS in my opinion.

We have Comcast - they have bundles for all 3 products that are really reasonably priced. Some of the bundles include a DVR too, so that helps. I'm right there with you on the DVR... Since I work full-time, my DVR is pretty much the only way I get to watch TV, LOL!

We have Comcast and I pay $124/month with all the junk fees for all three and extended basic (Channels 100-300, like BBC America, the local weather channel, LOGO, Bravo, etc.), HBO, Encore, and Starz. Love the OnDemand service (commercial less TV for my son) and never have any problems with the internet or cable. You are paying way, way too much.

Do comcast. I think that they have the triple play. They also have comcast on demand so you can watch missed shows. It is $99 for the first year for all three. I do not know if DVR is extra, you would need to find out. I like it because the cable hardly goes out but they pester you if you are late on your bill and they bill a month ahead of time.

We have the Comcast triple play and pay less than $150/mo. for everything (we've had it for more than a year, so we don't get the special rate anymore). We have a Tivo we've had for 6 years and we bought the lifetime service up front, which you can still do w/Tivo. You may want to find a new Tivo on eBay (much cheaper there) and buy lifetime service and not keep paying to rent a DVR from the cable company. Just a thought. Good luck whatever you choose!
