When does it get easier? I hear age 4?? My 29 month old is giving me a run for my money! Picky eater, tantrum,
everything seems to be a problem these days! I am not alone, am I?

What can I do next?

no u are not my daughter is 2 1/2 and is doing similar things as well its all normal I am also 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd so its been a rough go at it just remember u are in charge and just remember to breathe and take some time to yourself your little one is just testing the waters to see what he/she can get away with try not to stess out it will get easier we do time out for punishment in our home and it does work just make sure they know u mean business

For me, two was easy. Four was way harder, five is really a lot of fun.

For us, 3 was the worst. 4 was better, and at 5 there is a lot of head butting, testing, boundary pushing, etc. It's not that bad because you can reason with a 5 year old more than with a 2 or 3 year old. I'd still take anything over age 3.

You don't have to wait it out! Get the book Back to Basics Discipline by Janet Campbell Matson. Sure if you let her act that way, it may take years, but you can have good 2's 3's 4s too if you take charge. I have 3 kids, 5 and under, and they've been great, but early discipline is key. Around 18 months is usually when the "challenge" starts. Nip it!

Two was alright. Tail end of three and well into four aren't the smoothest, but it can't always be keystone.

I just keep telling myself "it'll get better". I can't promise not to strangle her along the way, but so far so good.

With my first I NEVER had problems, he was such a good boy : ) With my daughter it was from 18 months to 3.5, and with my little guy who's 31 months we've had rough independent streaks but nothing hair-pulling (mine, lol!) So I'm not sure if we're going to have the terrible three's or fours.

EVERY child is different, even within the same family, so we all have it different. But I think you have it easier in trying to train and discipline her now at almost 2.5, than if she was 4 and more set in her ways ; )

Hang in there, hugs!
