Hi Ladies, I would like replys to soothe or concern either one. I am right inbetween periods, and for the past 3-4 days have had very tender breasts, as though I'm fixing to have a period. My last one was not quite normal, a day less, and not quite as heavy. I did have my tudes tied 2 years ago, and although there is a chance to get preggie, I don't wanna think I would be the 10 percent or whatever it is. We have 2 kids, girl 4 and boy 2.5, and things are tight on one income, but would gladly welcome #3, if the Good Lord blesses us. Any thoughts...I did just suffer thru a bad yeast infection, and I am a little dizy at times.

What can I do next?

Hi J., tender breasts are totally normal. Sometimes our hormones are stronger different months. Also, stress can affect our periods making them start sooner or later. and/or different symptoms. My cycle is 26 days on average and have always had tender breasts as part of my PMS. After having our son at age 33 (36 now) my breasts are even more tender. In the middle of my cycle, so about 2 wks before my period starts, my boobs hurt like the dickens and feel like they weigh 10 lbs ea. after taking my bra off . ;-) After I had our son, and my boobs started to hurt earlier on, I worried I was pregnant, but sure enough, just hormones. Aren't hormones wonderful????? So don't freak out yet. Wait a little while and if you miss your period then take a test. ;-) Or if any other weird symptoms, then see a doctor.
For the dizziness, are you drinking enough water? Could be low electrolytes. Eating too much salt can also cause dizziness. Builds fluid in the ears. Of course, anything gets worse, see your doctor. Good luck and hope all is fine.

I would see the doc for any abnormalities that I feel. We know our body the best and no other woman's suggestion can fill yours when it comes to matters like this. I pray that everything is well with you. I am actually on my way to another consultation because I have been feeling the same way. Prayers. Take care.

Tender breasts was the first thing I noticed when I was pregnant. I took an at-home test five days before I was due for my period and it came back positive. So if you're that close to being due, you might try it if only to put your mind at ease. Good luck!

Hi J.:
When I first got pregnant with my sons, that was the first thing i noticed, was tenderness of the breast.I can understand you being a little concerned.Funny thing is,not long after having them I began to experience that same tenderness, pryor to each menstral.Because your last period was a bit off,you may be closer to your next period than you think you should be,and therefore experiencing the tenderness. If the soreness continues, ease your mind by purchasing a test at the store.I wish you the best J.
