Has anyone every tried Humphrey's Teething Pellets? If so, after dissolving the pellets in water, did you just rub them on your child's gums. I've only tried them twice w/ my daughter and I'm not so sure how effective they have been.
Thanks

I've used them on my daughter and think they work great! I don't bother disolving either, they disolve in the mouth in a second. The times I've given them to her, my daughter has settled down in a matter of a couple of minutes. I've tried baby orejel and did not get any results.

I used Hyland's teething tablets with both kids to great effect, but instead of dissolving them I just put them straight into my kids' mouths. They are tiny and dissolve instantly, so it isn't a choking issue, even with a young baby. I don't know if the Humphrey's brand is the same way.

I've used the tablets and I thought they were great. I plan to use them again once my son's teething starts getting bad again. I didn't bother to dissolve them though. I just poke them under his tongue one at a time and sorta hold them there for a second until they dissolve, which literally is like, a second... I'd hesitate to use water, even though they say you can, simply because it dilutes it and then you can't really be sure how much your child is getting.

As with everything though, every child is different.

I never tried Humphreys but the Camile Teething Drops from Whole Foods work great, you just squirt them right into your child's mouth. I could see a big difference in my son, who was one of the worst teether's our pediatrician has ever seen

One of my friend's was using a brand of teething pellets, and her pediatrician advised her not to use them.

Call your pediatrician for advice.

I used them and found them to be very effective. I used to dissolve them then squirt them into my daughters mouth with a syringe.

I would advise you to ask your pediatrician, they can be pretty helpful about stuff like this. I also just wanted to say that whatever posts you get here about the ferber method, I am sure you didn't chose this on a whim and that you should feel comfortable in your parenting decisions. Good luck.

I haven't used them but I did use gentle naturals teething drops and they seem to work pretty good. You use them more frequently until the pain seems to be getting better and then decrease how often you give it. Its an all natural remedy and it helps with pain and also helps to calm. To find out how to correctly use them call your pedi and/or the company.
