K.,

I have two boys, a two year old and a nine month old. I used the Hylands Teething Tablets. They are 100% natural and are great. You can find the pretty much anywhere they are normally near the children's vitamins in all the stores around here. I hope this helps.

just wet a baby wash cloth and stick in the freezer(sounds silly) and then rub the iced part on his gums or let him suck on it, its cheaper than buying all those teething rings and it works fine : )

My son is going thru the same thing now..even though he is only 3mnths(he is starting early). I have used Hylands Teeting tablets. They worked great! They are natural and are ok to give to infants. Good luck!

Used the frozen washcloth trick with my daughter - worked wonders, though if its too cold for him just keep the washcloth in the refrigerator. Did use numbing teething gel also at night to help her sleep - it has alcohol in it too, though.

you might want to buy a "teething" ring or a toy that is made for teething.their are teething rings you can put in the freezer also, and it helped my daughter when she was a baby.

They also have teethers that vibrate softly when kids bite them and it helps sooth their gums. My daughter loved hers, she kept it even when she wasn't teething!

Hello Kim,

I know this sounds crazy but, if you have a little Crown Royal or any type of whiskey, you can rub a little on his gums with a q-tip. I tried all the teething meds and nothing worked. It is not like you are pouring liquer down his throat. It is what they did before we had all the wonderful toxic meds we have now. It will soothe his throbbing mouth quickly. He is probably too small for the hard zweiback crackers. Make sure he always has something hard to chew on. The cold rings are ok too. Best of Luck & hang in there. I know it is hard but it will get better.
