My teenage daughter's friend will be coming for a visit this weekend, over Easter. Friend has a strained relationship with her mom and dad is out of the picture. I'll do an Easter basket for both of them. I've already graduated to putting mascara, gum, or eye liner in the basket with the obligatory chocolate bunny. Any other ideas for the girls?
Wow you all are awesome! I can't wait to go shopping. : )

Even a Yo-Yo
Even teens get a kick out of some of that stuff. Sometimes it is like being 7 years old all over again--especially if they each get the same stuff. Can't you just picture the two girls doing punching bags at each other?! What a riot! :)
i would do lip gloss, nail polish, lotions etc.
For my girl, I put in Crest 3D white toothpaste, a new toothbrush and little floss picks. Cheap jewelry, ponytail holders, and headbands. I always put a few kitchy little toys too. Like glow bracelets, a little coloring thing or craft, like a bracelet making ket or something with glitter markers. They may be big, but they still like to play and I like to remind them they are still kids and it's still ok to play.
My SD is getting candy, cupcake themed duct tape (Michael's has it), a small cupcake photo frame and a necklace. She gets a basket with her mom, but I usually leave her a little something for her return.
Socks, lipgloss, hair accessories, glow in the dark stuff, nail polish, bunny ear headbands (my SD has been wearing one)....
Target gift card
Gas card if she drives
Google all the fun things people are doing with Peeps, those marshmallow chicks and other animals, and get the girls a variety of Peeps and some basic cake decorating supplies (sprinkles, frosting gel). Peeps are fun to play with no matter how old you are. There are entire Peeps dioramas, and Peep dress-ups.
My mom always gave us new PJs in our Easter baskets. I'd try Old Navy for some inexpensive, cute PJ pants/shorts or tank and short PJ sets.
Get ready for warm weather... sunglasses, flip flops, henna "tattoos", gift card to a salon (one with tanning if you're comfortable with that)...
