Tall Boots for Skinny Calfs

Hi Moms! I have been looking (for months now it seems) for a pair of nice, tall, brown boots to wear to wear to work with skirts. The problem is, I have really small calfs and most of the boots are way too big in the calf. Does anyone know of any brands that run with a smaller calf circumference (like 14 inches)? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I once got a gorgeous pair of Sigerson Morrisson's (marked own 3 times, please) and being super upscale, the were so narrow I had to send them back. And I have fairly thin calves. My problem is always finding them tall enough. A great place to shop for boots is endless.com. they give all the stats and have the greatest selection and prices. Higher end boots are usually slimmer.

One of my girlfriends would wear legwarmers with her tall boots so they would not fall down or rub oddly she never could seem to find ones that would fit correctly. You may want to see if you could have a local shoe repair place see if they can fit you for one or two really good pair that will last a while as well. Good tall boots can be worth the investment.

I wish I could help, I am having the opposite problem. I want a pair of tall brown boots, but can not find any that will fit over my calfs! I wonder if there is a place you could have them custom made?

My calves are small too-- I bought ones that are kind of stretchy but also have a zipper -- they cost me a decent amount in a department store but have been worth it :) I bought brown and black. I think you just have to take a look around but I would suggest staying away from those that have a stiff upper boot and going with those with a flexible leg cover that conforms to the size of your leg. The bigger, stiff ones look silly on skinny calves! Best wishes!

closest i get is with aquatalia boots (comfortable but not as fashionable as i would love them).
also boutique 9 has some now with lace but not tall, they came midway.

All I can say is I have the same problem and the only pair I ever had that I liked were Steve Madden's but the dogs chewed them :( and I have not been able to find the same style ones anywhere.

Oh, how I wish I had your problem... I can't find the tall boots I want in wide...
Anyways, I have done quite a bit of "boot research" lately and I liked Macy's website best, where they list the calf circumference for most of their boots (unfortunately for me there are a lot of 13 and 14 " that I could never squeeze my legs in).
Good luck!
