We took our kids to classes with Plano Parks & Rec at The Muehlenbeck Center on Parker Rd. The facility is fantastic, and the very affordable classes went a long way to boosting our kids' confidence in the water.
Hello, mommies! I'm looking for an inexpensive but good place where my son can take swimming lessons this summer. Does anyone have a suggestion, a place they would recommend?
Thanks,
M.

I don't know what side of Plano you are on, but if you are near the downtown Plano area, Aqua-fit is very good. They have an indoor pool.
Emler (Plano, Frisco) is good.
Emler swim school! I started my 3 year-old there this spring, and am very pleased with the school. My son is pretty cautious, and doesn't like getting water in his eyes, but he had a great time in swim lessons, and has learned to kick himself 15+ feet through the water without floatation and pull himself out of the pool. They are just starting summer classes next week.
