AAAWWW!!! how sweet!!
Yesterday my son asks me to run to the store and pick up the candy for his Valentine's cards and pulls out his wallet and hands me a $20 to cover the costs and to pick up flowers for his teacher!!!
My daughter & her special friend were able to exchange Valentines, even though they are in different classes. (Both in 1st grade) We saw each other this morning & the little boys Grandmother said he was soooo excited to get the special valentine. She said he was just BEAMING when he got home from school & said "Gran Ma, I wanna take Emily to Burger King"!!!! Soooo Precious!!! Little things like this make all the BS in the world become nonsense to me!!!!!! Any other sweet stories to share? Great weekend to all :)

Awww! I love to hear these stories and to hear others taking delight in their children! :0)
Last night my son made up a valentines day song to sing to me. It went like this "Its valentines day and I love you! Its valentines day and I love you! this is a special day where we all get together! Its valentines day and I love you!"
Then repeat that 10-20 times at full volume (he is 4). IMO, it was the best song ever!! :0)
After spending my day in the ER with my 21 yr old who had a sledding accident which resulted in 4 fire trucks, one EMT truck, one ambulance, a police car, a Cat scan a lot of drama and moaning and groaning, she, Thank God, came home with just a sore neck, headache and a very scraped up chin, My seven yr old said, let's praise her (huh?) and then put his hands together to pray for her "Dear God let Cass be completely better in 6 days, Amen"
My son (who is 6), invited a boy over for a play date this weekend.
It is not a usual friend that my son plays with.
When I asked my son why he chose this boy as a play date, he said "Because he's new Mommy. And he's from the mainland. He's a nice boy."
I was so impressed with my son... inviting a new student, to come over.
And he is so excited. He wants the new student to feel "happy" at his new school.
I did introduce myself to this boy's Mom previously. Because I know they are new to the school and to our State. And the Mom is nice.
