I am not sure if anyone can help me with this one but I have to ask. I sweat at night now, it has gotten so bad that it is hard to sleep, my room is cold and my blankets are not that thick and still I sweat so bad. I don't know if there is anything i can do to stop this but if there is I will try anything. Thanks Ladies.

What can I do next?

Stress and hormones can really do a number on you physically. There are quite a few natural supplements that you can try to help with stress regulation and balancing your body. Valerian,a s someone mentioned is a good one to use both for stress and balancing levels. I would say to focus on reducing stress. Some excellent stress reduction techniques include EFT and Reiki.

Hi M.. I had the same question a few weeks ago. I didn't see my doctor as I didn't feel it warranted the visit personally. However, I did pay attention to some things some of the ladies said.
1 - I sleep with a down comforter (I love it). Since the occurance I have warmed my room before going to bed so that I don't sweat as much.
2 - My youngest daughter is 6 months(in a few days) and my hormones I know are still doing their own thing. :) The joy of being a woman, huh?
3 - If you are still going through a divorce, then the stress of all that could possibly have an effect (not that I'm an expert). I'm not with the father of my girls (unfortunately) but now that we argue less and actually talk to each other and he's been doing what I ask (thankfully), I am less stressed.
4 - I have a friend who takes 'nerve pills'. She says it helps her out a lot. She gets them from a health food/nutrition store. She's a big health nut.

I hope some of this helps. I still have nights when I sweats more than I would like but my hormones again are still doing what they want.

Good luck to you. And I pray the messiness of your divorce is soon over and there is sanity restored to your life.

Do you have any other symptoms? It could very well be your thyroid. Go have a simple blood test for thyroid hormones.

Hey M.! I totally agree with the other Mommas who said to get your hormone levels checked. You're too young to be going through night sweats. That's what our MOMS are going through. You'll probably notice other things improving when you get your hormones leveled out. Good luck!!!
And GET ON IT NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!! :o)

Are you starting to go thru menopause? Try taking a shower to refesh yourself before going to bed and talk to your doctor to see if there is any medication they can give you

If you have medical insurance, I'd suggest having your hormone levels checked. If not, or you just can't fit another thing into your schedule, buy Valerian Root capsules. They're available at Kroger in the vitamin section. You take it at night and it eliminates night sweats. I used it during a brief "perimenopausal" period last year and couldn't believe the difference, in a few nights.
Hope this helps.

I would agree to go to the doctor and have it checked out but.... I will say I had the same issue, had all the work ups done and my doctor told me it was stress related. Boy was she right! Who knew that stress can cause terrible night sweats but it can.

I would have my sugar tested as well as my hormone levels. Always check with your doctor first. I wish you well.
