As long as it has been sealed and in the fridge, it should be fine. Cookie dough usually lasts a week in the fridge. It can last several months in the freezer.
I made sugar cookie dough (with egg yolks and butter) on Saturday to make shamrock cookies, but after I put it in the fridge to chill I ran out of time. It's been in the refrigerator, and I am wondering if I can use it to make cut out cookies for my son's preschool instead. I am asking here only because I would be bringing them to young kids; if it were just my family, I wouldn't worry. To be clear, the cookies would be baked, but the raw dough has been sitting in the fridge for five days now.

I made my sugar cookie dough on Saturday, made the cookies on Sunday and the left over dough is in the fridge. I'm planning on making more cookies with it this weekend.
As long as everything has stayed refridgerated, & will be baked, should be no problem.

Are you kidding me cookie dough lasts like almost a month in your fridge or you could even put it in the freezer. My mother is still making us cookies from her Christmas dough they are great! Enjoy!
Sugar is a natural preservative. It will be just fine on Saturday. If you're going to wait any longer, put it in the freezer.
Absolutely! As long as the dough has been refrigerated and covered it should be fine. I've left dough in the fridge for as long as a week and still used it.
