Does anyone know the secret to making a netted bath toy holder stay stuck??? Ours is not over-filled, the wall is clean.....still--it stays up for a few hours at a time, then slips right off the wall! Any help would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

I've delt with this too!! I just went to Walmart and got the kind that you hold the hook straight out and press in while pushing the hook down. It still falls from time to time but maybe once every two to three months! Mine are about shot too so I'll probably buy some new ones after we move in Aug. You could also try the 3M hooks that stick to the wall but you can pull the sticky stuff off if you ever need to move it. Don't know how well they work all together but I've got 2 holding a mop and a broom. I'll find out how well the sticky thing pulls off in a few weeks!!

Good luck!

The best solution that I have gotten from the "elders" in my family (who aren't really all that old at all!!!) was to try rubbing a small amount of liquid soap on the back of the suction cups. Just make sure that you don't put on too much soap, and make sure that the wall and suction cups are completely dry (in regards to water) when you place them back up on the wall. It should hold pretty well once the soap has dried (just hold it in place for a few minutes to let it set), but if there's too much soap or any water in the equation, they'll just slide right back down. Hope this helps you!!!!

I hate those suction cups! HAHA! My husband went to Lowes (or any hardware store) and bought a heavier duty suction cup and the bag stayed great after that! I think the ones that come with the toy bag are just not strong enough but saving the company a little money with each set they sell. Good Luck!

I don't have any good advice for that problem but I want to sympathize. We tried to use one for awhile but had the same problem. Eventually we bought a shower caddy and just piled the toys in it. It's good because it lets water drain and it doesn't mold like some of the toy holders with net or cloth. The only downfall is that my son can't stand up to get his own toys down for fear the whole thing might crash. Let me know what you figure out. :)

I've had the same problem too. I found that scrubbing the wall, if it's not drywall or something like that, with Brillo and then cleaning it and the suction cups with rubbing alcohol worked for me. Good Luck

If there's drywall above the tub, there's always the option installing regular hooks. That's what we did, but then again my husband likes to drill stuff and I didn't think about heavier duty suction cups. :o) Good Luck!!
