when do you throw toothbrush away after starting antibiotics,which day? i have forgot.

I was told third day. (had strep a few weeks ago). feel better!
within two days it what they told us.
48 hrs after being on antibiotics. I take it a step further: I throw the original one after 48 hrs, use a new one, which gets tossed away after antibiotics are done. why? Because we had strep back to back to back, 3 times, one year. I am convinced we got it from toothbrushes.
Hi,you are supposed to start using a new toothbrush once you've been on antibiotics for 24 hrs.
My daughter just had strep about a month ago. Her doc said on day 4. Obviously, you've gotten different answers here, so I'd call your child's doctor and verify what s/he wants.
