Probably another 2 full weeks is within the normal range. Just depends on you. Mine came back when I cut my daughter down to one feeding a day. I nursed her for 13 mos.
So I am sure it's been asked before, but.... I just weened my 20 month old daughter. I cut her back to 1 feeding a day about 5 weeks ago. She has not had any milke for 2 full weeks now. Still now period. Dont get me wrong, I love not having a period. Just wondering how long is it normal to not get a period back after weening a toddler? Thanks!

I think it was 4 months before I got mine. My daughter was younger, but I don't think that makes a difference.

I've heard it really depends on many factors. I was also worried b/c my friends who were still in the midst of breastfeeding had already gotten their period, and mine didn't come until after I stopped, when my daughter was about 16 months. Good for you for going until 20 months!
With my first child, I only nursed for 3 months. I didn't start my period until she was 8 months old!
With #2, I b/f for 12 months, and started my period when she was 5 months old. Everyone is different.
With both of my 2 older kiddos I did not get my period back for 2 months after I stopped nursing completely. I didn't complain. LOL! ;-)
