Hi,
Has anyone seen the stomach bug that is going around coming back after a few days? Or even lasting in a mild form for over a week? My son had it for a day last week, then came home from school with a fever on Wed. No fever now but has been complaining about his stomach. Just curious.
Thanks!

This stomach bug is HORRIBLE especially in the younger one. My daughter who is 6 had it for a total of 5 days and apparently had the mild form. Fever for 4 of the 5 days and only got sick 2 of those days. Other than that she just laid around and was not herself.
My two nephews were around her while she had it and they now both have it and have it three times as bad as she did. They are 7 months and 2. Meanwhile none of the adults have gotten it (crossing fingers).
YES! This stomach bug has been circling around here for over a month now. Some families I know have had it multiple times and one of my friends, whose girls just got over it (again), said that it lasted 4 days for each kid this time around. She also said that one of her daughters seemed to get better, so she was getting her ready for school and then she got sick again. It's so miserable. We have somehow managed to avoid it (although, I really can't explain how because we have been around EVERY SINGLE ONE of my friends and their families who have come down with it), but my poor friends have had a time of it and it spread through the whole family...mom, dad, and all the kids. No fun, for sure. Hope everyone is feeling better in your home soon!
A sore stomach and vomiting is also a sign of strep.
My kids almost never present with a sore throat - it's the sore stomach almost every time.
