Mostly everything except letters. I also think that Facebook is a great way to reconnect with people or stay in touch. An occassion card when the feeling moves me or sometimes birthdays, etc. Just not as good as I used to be on staying on top of that....I was just thinking about this the other day as I was organizing my cards and stationery....thought to myself...don't "use" that writing paper much anymore....Also have started skyping with my best friend so that is a great way to chat instead of via telephone....I do like the actual personal contact/conversation. Hope this helps.

Facebook, mostly. Then email. The only people who have my phone number are my closest family members.

For friends I stay in touch by email mostly and then every few weeks I call and ask them to meet me for lunch. Some friends you can go several months without talking and just sending a few emails. Closer friends or friends you see often or want to make better friends, you have to keep in touch with more often. It all depends on what you want out of that friendship. Some friends are needy, I would do just the email thing with those. As far as customers, email is great b/c they may not want to be bothered often and thene very once in a while you can send a card of specials, deals, just keeping in touch. Family, I email but send cards on holidays and sometimes in between if you want to send pics of the family or just tell them you are thinking of them. I always, always send cards for thank yous to keep the old fashioned lines of communication there. Email is not very personal. I am not a phone person but some ppl are so you will have to determine who would like you to call. That should be easy b/c they either barely return emails to you, or they call you often. Good luck!

Family and friends -> facebook, blogger.com (I have my own site), direct contact.

If you are looking for marketing suggestions, I just took a marketing college class... maybe you should look into that if you have a customer base through a business. I go to Columbia Southern University online and like it. It is not a diploma mill and VA approved me to go to them. Or try a community college.

Good luck :)

I fought joining Facebook, but now I love it. It has pretty much replaced my personal email for staying in touch with family and friends. I think some people become addicted to the connection they feel, but I usually check it once a day and I really like being able to see what my family and friends are doing.

There is, however, nothing like a personalized message to people. I really like to keep blank cards at my office for any occasssion.

My favorite way to stay in touch with my family overseas is Skype. It's much more personal and much more fun then by phone or e-mail. I also use Facebook. I don't do cards anymore except a few Christimas cards and the last time I sent a letter was probably 10+ years ago.

email, telephone, and greeting cards. It depends on the relationship, as well, the individual.
