Hi Moms!
I am looking for other moms who may be interested in starting a business. I am a stay at home mom and I love to put my kids first and schedule things around them. I also would like to have a little extra income, interact with people my own age, and be my own boss.
I am leaning towards a business that will bring in a steady income. Something people are always doing or buying. I was thinking of opening a bar or something in the pet industry. If any moms have any similar thoughts and would like to partner up please let me know.

I've always wanted to open a business with pets in mind. I wanted to do boarding, dog sitting, grooming and also sell food and home made treats and toys....The only thing is, it just takes capital...and that has always hindered me from doing it. But knowing the area, and knowing how many animal lovers there are out there I feel the business would thrive.
I have actually started my own business at home. I find it gives me the most flexability for time with my daughter. I don't do any selling, just introduce the company to potential customers. You mentioned a bar or pet service. Does that mean you have some start up money? I would think those would take some capital to get started. I am asking becasue I just bought a home based franchise with my husband. We are going to our training this weekend, and I'm really excited! It will be a perfect business, I think, to allow us to work from home and have a flexible schedule. it costs about $6-8K to buy a territory. Hi... I am a single mother of a 13 month old and needed to find a way to make some extra money. Two months ago I saw an opportunity to make money without taking time away from my son and I am having a blast doing it.
