Try Goo-Gone in a spray bottle!! Love that stuff.. I use it when Spray & Wash doesn't get all my stains out!
How do you remove a stain (pasta) from the cutest little dress ever? My lil girl is messy and I really love this dress!
Thing was my husband was the one who did laundry bc I work almost a 9 hour day and clean so much at the house already! He dried it, but I am getting the stain out... I used a little dawn since I had it right there in the kitchen and it seemed to help a little plus I let it soak in a solution and to my surprise the sause seems pretty invisible... I am going to get this dress clean lol! Its my toddlers favriot dress and is just perfect on her. One of my friends bought it for her and I have no idea where she got it and she doesnt remember... or I would just go buy a new one! My mom swears by this stuff that you buy with a little scrubber that she uses on already stained clothes and swears she will get it out if I cant! This dress is so perfect for my toddler really there are no words to describe how cute it looks on her lol! Thanks everyone :)

I swear by Shout, the gel with the brush. I also like the spray too for non-ground in stains. I have an 8 year old boy, a messy husband, and myself who seems to always be dropping food down my front side. Never had any trouble getting the stains out.
I used to use Spray & Wash, but found that if you "pre-treat" it will fade the clothes as it sits. Shout does not do this. I "pre-treat" then on the day I'm ready to wash, I put a little more on if it's a bad stain.
Try dish soap. Take your finger nail and dig it in. Rinse and repeat. Maybe even let it sit there for a bit. If it still doesn't come out, make a highly concentrated paste out of oxyclean and water. Let it sit on the spot until it dries and then repeat until it comes out.
oxy-clean has worked wonders for me and is safe on colored clothes. put a small amount on wet clothes and soak for at least 1 hour. You may also want to put in those really dirty sox. It got ink out of husbands shirt and did not hurt this shirt.
I usually try Spray-n-Wash first, and if that doesn't get stains out, I let things soak in Biz for a couple of days.
Dreft stain remover is the best! You can also use woolite carpet cleaner with oxy clean to get the stain out too. I've used both and they work great! I like Dreft better simply because it is made for stains on clothing and for little ones. :) Good luck!
blue Dawn dish soap, miracles!
before washing pour a little bit of dawn dish washing liquid on the stain and pour small amount of water on it and scrub the stain area and put the dress to be washed in delicate wash, usually takes the stain out.
I would say make a paste of baking soda and water, put it on the stain and scrub with a small brush. Then throw it in the wash.
Good luck!!
I really swear by the oxi clean spray, its in a blue bottle with a yellow nozzle at Walmart in the laundry aisle...I have had it get out marinara sauce, chocolate ice cream, grease spots, blood ( from nose bleeds) grass stain and good old fashioned mud = ) It is my can't live without household product = ) Sometimes it takes more than one wash ( don't dry) and use cold water
Oxi Clean spray removes everything. Spray and rub, spray and rub until the stain disappears. Then, you can wash it. I use this on all of my daughter's clothes.
I have yet had to throw away any clothing.
I have even gotten permanent ink out of my jeans.
I don't usually answer these, but between my husband and my son (who loves to rub the pasta sauce all over him) my stain fighting capabilities are constantly being tested. I use Oxyclean spray on everything before it goes in the wash. But don't dry the article, once dry it's almost impossible to get out. Tomato sauce takes a few washings sometimes. With really tough stains that aren't white (so no bleach) I use the oxyclean powder. Get a big bowl, pretty hot water, and a lot more oxyclean than it says to use. I use a few cups for around a gallon of water. stir it up so it dissolves then let it cool down to the temperature your dress can handle. I have soaked articles of clothing for days before...and the stains to come off, just sometimes takes a while. You can also try the paste they suggest on the box, but I usually have most of the article that needs to be cleaned so I just soak it. That stuff is safe on antique lace. I wouldn't do laundry with out it! I hope that helps. I also add vinegar to every few loads, about a cup. It helps with odors and helps break up detergent that has built up on the clothes. Your clothes won't smell like vinegar, its just an amazing cleaner!
If all your efforts fail... DO stop by a fabric store. You can buy a little iron on patch (from bumble bees, to fleur-de-lis, to jewels, to numbers... hundreds of choices), or patcheS to make a bit of a pattern. So you still get the cutest dress ever, with just a little bit of embellishment.
I use oxy clean. DON'tTdry it, because usually, once you dry an item, it sets the stain in. I sometimes have to spray an item and wash it several times, but usually it comes out.
Try baby Oxyclean, soak in water overnight and on area with stain put some powder of oxyclean. Works well. Good luck
