I would also recommend the gradual self tanner the spray tan to me just looks orange plus you will be breathing that stuff in. I have used the jergens gradual tanner before it worked pretty well.
Has anyone spray tanned before? Did you like it? I've never done it, but am considering it as I am in my BFs wedding in May and I am pasty pale!!! I'm preggo, so I know regular tanning isn't an option. I'm going to ask my OB if it is safe. But was just looking to you ladies to see if anyone has ever done it and what you thought of it.
Does it come off on your sheets? How long does it last?

yes i do.. try it once before the wedding as a test run.. Exfoliate good.. I do air brush tanning.. where a person sprays u.. they do a good job. don't do the machine spray tans. It last 6 days.. use lotion everyday.. didn't get on my sheets.. wear dark clothes and a little comes off on clothes but didnt stain. I have them spray me not too dark just natural then sometimes my face a little darker.. check out yelp.com in your area for reviews on airbrush tanning. I just do it for special events :) but I will never go in a tanning bed again as I have had 2 pre cancer removed from my back when I was a teenager in 1996.. it left scars each 2 and half inches long.. so smart choice to do air brush tanning :)

My sister got a spray tan. Honestly, it looked so unnatural and from what I remember, some of it did come off on sheets and clothing. What is wrong with pale? We were not born with a tan. Just my opinion....
Spray tanning is not really safe for pregnancy from what I have heard. If you do decide to do it get one that is done by a person not a booth. You will breathe in a ton of tan in a booth. Also-get a practice tan before the real thing. You never know how it will look. It can really mess up around your feet. And yes, it can come off on your sheets. A good one lasts about a week but you need to moisturize. Also prep really well with exfoliation.
But I would really suggest you use a gradual self tanning lotion.
I'm pasty pale as well and wanted to get a spray tan for a formal ball that I was going to be attending with my husband. I tried it out well before the ball to see how it would come out. You should go for the lightest tan that they offer because it'll look like a light tan and not an orange color if you were to choose a darker tan. I was very pleased with just a little bit of color, but you have to be careful because if you do the machines (which is what I used) make sure you get the positions correctly otherwise you will have an uneven tan. Also, make sure to lather the lotion/creme that they give you on the insides of your hands otherwise you'll have tanned palms!!!! I think spray tans are easy, comfortable, and so worth it if you do it right especially compared to going to a tanning bed! But I'd definately ask your OB about. I can't say if it's safe or not for a prego chick! Good luck! :) PS if you don't get a spray tan just look for a dress that compliments your skin tone...
My mother spray tans and I dont think it looks good at all. It looks so unnatural and runs when it gets wet. I am VERY pale, and I love being pale. I especially love how pink and pastel colors look against my light skin. If I were you, I wouldnt do the 'tan in the can'. Just keep your look and rock it.
