Spotting During Ovulation?

Very common. Your body may be changing, your hormones may be changing. You can mention it if you have a check-up coming up, otherwise I would probably just monitor it for another month. If it happens 3 months in a row, I'd call the doctor and talk to him/her or the nurse just to see if they want you to come in. My guess is they won't since it so clearly lines up with ovulation, but it doesn't hurt to make the call. I don't know your personal and family history, and they do.

I had spotting like that and it was caused by fibroids and some endometriosis.

I've had the same thing a few times. Totally normal.

I've had this happen.
Ovulation was awful for me when I was off hormones. Enough so that I actually went back ON the pill to avoid it.

You don't mention if you're on birth control. On my IUD towards the end when I needed it replaced, I got that all the time. Although I've never been crampy - but the spotting yes.

I wouldn't call the doctor but I would just mention it next visit.
