I have one, I think it's by Champion. It has underwires and hooks on the back. Hooks are much better than feeling like I'm about to dislocate my shoulder trying to get it off!
Hi Ladies, I am a 34DD-E and am looking for a sports bra that doesn't give me one big smooshed uni-boob. I can read descriptions online, but would love to hear a first-hand account of a bra that supports well for running etc., but separates and doesn't require contortionist abilities to get on and off. Thanks!

I can't speak to brands specifically, but I will tell you that I found a huge difference when I stopped trying bras that say "compression" in the descriptor. For years, (years ago, like in the 80s early 90s) that was all that was out there as far as I know. One day I noticed one I picked up didn't say that... and it fits SO much better. Compression really does compress them. I can't breathe as well in them, either. I hate them. No wonder I hated running when I was younger... the bras made me miserable. Avoid the "compression" style sports bra and you should have better luck all around.
I'm a 34DD, too.
Enell.
Great line, hooks up the front, fantastic support.
You can get them at most fitness stores. They're lifesaving for runners.
I second the suggestion of getting a custom fitting from a real bra shop (as opposed to VS or something for smaller sizes and less utility).
I know a woman who is larger on top like yourself-- she wears two sports bras to keep things in place. So, layering may be something to think about.
Glamorise.com you do have to go online to order them(at least I don't think anyone sells them elsewhere). They are very supportive and really great quality. My daughter is a 32g and I couldn't find anything supportive enough for cheer until I ordered these. I will say VS was the 2nd best option.
I'd consider going to a bra shop such as Lady Grace and telling them exactly what you want. Try some on, jump around the dressing room to see if it supports enough for running, etc. You will do best if you are comfortable enough to let the bra fitter woman work with you - if you're super modest, that can be difficult. I let the woman right in the changing room with me and let her know she can touch me as needed to measure me, shift a bra around, whatever. They also will bring more bras in to you after you give feedback on the last few, and that saves a ton of time/annoyance with getting dressed again to go back out to the display racks. You'll pay more for the first bra but it saves money in the long run. Then you can buy additional bras wherever you get the best price.
I use Champion sports bras but I don't run, so my experience won't be as relevant. And putting one on if I'm damp from a shower or if it's humid is a huge pain!
am about the same size as you and what I found that works for me is not an expensive sports bra, but two cheaper ones. First I put on one of the full coverage ones that give little real support and give you uniboob but then I put a cupped one over it in a size too small, they hardly move at all and the bigger bra underneath catches the overspill out the top and sides and holds it in. It is the only way I can run without pain.
Years ago I use to love The JogBra.
But it was tough getting it on and off.
I'm not sure they make them anymore.

I asked this question a few months ago and got some really great advice! Hopefully, those same posters will come forward with their experiences.
I ended up going to Victoria's Secret. I had ordered one online based on a poster's suggestion from Amazon, but it wasn't even close to fitting and rather than keep ordering and sending back, I wanted to try one on in person. My single requirement (other than the twins not flopping around when I ran) was that I didn't have to pull it over my head. I HATE THAT! I found two at VS - one is a dual bra that has a front hook and then a zipper close - both in front. I call it the Iron Maiden - but it works. The other is more of a moulded cups type and has standard hooks in the back. Not quite as much support, but I use it for exercising and running less than 3 miles.
I would check out VS and see if you can find something you like. I did get fitted, but they are mostly teen girls who think they know what they are doing - overall, it is really about what FITS, not what a tape measure says should fit. I am a 34DD/E, same as you and they even had my size in stock! The other thing I do notice is that with VS I have to buy a cup size larger (at least) - I think their sizing runs small.
Good luck!
There really isn't one. I found a bra at Walmart that is built like a sports bra but it has a lace layer on the front that works like a camisole under a top. You can often see the lace but not the bra. I got a size that fit me and I really like it.
But facts are facts. Larger breasts are often soft squishy material and they go where they are put. If there isn't anything inside the bra to separate and do stuff to them then they're going to move towards each other and become one entity.
My suggestion is see if you can find the bra like I got, at Walmart, and see how it works for you. Otherwise you are going to have to probably just wear a regular bra under your work out gear that gives you the look you want.
The bra I got at Walmart that I like a lot looks almost exactly like this one. It has the soft foam circles in the pouch that can be removed. I like that because that gives extra support up front. If I take them out I just put them up in the laundry room then put them back in when I want. It fastens like a regular bra in the back. It's soft and comfy too.

i have 3 of these and a bigger cup size (34g) i don't have a uniboob, and i get good support. it has the hooks in the back and is comfortable for long time wear.
Title 9 (the company, not the law) has some great options, though I personally go for uniboob over bounce.
Same here. Champion.com
I, too, hate uniboob. As a woman with generous frontal acreage, I have had success with the bras sold by Title 9. The company has bra experts who you can talk to to match you with a bra that works for you (I wanted something that could go from work to gym, and, oh, yeah, fit a 40DDD). The bras I have bought from them have cups, cushioned underwires, padded straps, hooks in back, and fit under normal clothes. Title 9 may have a store in your area, but if not, check them out online. You will probably end up paying around $50, but the bras I've bought from them have lasted several years of frequent wear and machine washing.
