I no longer get a spell check when I type answers. Is this a change on the site or with my computer?

Thank you for all the replies. I think my computer set up has changed. My granddaughter was using it last week to do homework and I think she may have switched something so that the computer browser is more like what she's used to. My cousin, who is our family expert, died yesterday and so I'm hoping my granddaughter and I can eventually turn the spell checker back on. In the meantime, this is OK. Just know I'm not really a great speller. LOL It was the computer making my posts look so good.
BTW this site has been a really great way for me to escape during this difficult time. My cousin had metastisized melanoma. Thank you all for being there.
I have never gotten a spell check on this site, hence all the spelling errors and typos!
Probably your computer. I don't have spell check on here. As most could tell!
Maybe your browser? I don't know. I do know, though, that the spell-checker program doesn't seem to reflect words which seem to go beyond a high-school vocabulary and gets stuck on certain conjugations. "Strategize" always seems to get a red line under it on my screen, and I am certain it IS a word! maybe the spell-checker is anti-proactive planning? :)~

All those misspelled words I typed above, are underlined in red to highlight it.
i think its your browser. i do not have spell check on mine hence the zillion typos=) plus phones dont help either
I assume it has to do with your browser. I have always used Internet Explorer which does not spell check so you have always been stuck with my typos :-)

I didn't know there was spell check ability.

check your browser preferences. that is where your spell checking option is, not the individual sites.
I have spell-checking selected on my browser, and get it on this site. If that didn't work, my exhaustive knowledge of computers would be exhausted, and I'd be up you-know-where without a paddle. So good luck!
wow I learned somethign new everyday, i have Internet explorer too and no spell check but man i could use it.
I've never had one on this site . I have to do all my own spell-checking!
