Does anyone know where we can take our soda cans and redeem them for cash in the DFW area? We haven't had any luck with those machines that are supposed to take them.

It doesn't pay much (70 cents a pounds) but anything is better than nothing.

There are 2 or 3 recycling places along Main St. between down town Ft. Worth (slightly north of Stock Yards-I think) & Saginaw. Don't know numbers, but should be able to locate in yellow pages. One accepts a lot of scrap metals.
There is a place along Jackboro Hwy (near Northside between 820 & NE 28th street) that recycles. Don't know the name or number though...my husband takes our there.
We take them to a recycling place in old town Lewisville. I believe it's on Cowan street. I think I typed "aluminum recycling center Lewisville" in Google to find it. Or the yellow pages might have listings for recycling centers in your area.
We have had the same problem...would love to read your responses if you would care to share.
