This is not really a question, but just a bragging moment. One week ago today we had our second child, another little girl. I cannot believe it! After weeks of bed rest, gestational diabetes and a couple other minor challenges, our baby arrived at almost 38 weeks and is doing great. My husband and I both thought we were having a boy, but SURPRISE, we were blessed with another little girl and we couldn't be happier. Despite a failed VBAC ending in a c-section and battling the normal post-baby emotional/physical "fun," life is wonderful, and I thank God every day that we're all healthy. You did great. I wish more moms that want to control everything about thier pregnancy and births could read what you wrote.. We just really never know what is going to happen, but if you just take each moment as it comes.. Everything will be fine.

A neighbor thought she was having a boy. US tech said so. Whoops! She had a girl a couple of weeks ago.

Congratulations! It sounds like a "tough" pregnancy, but I'm happy that you and your family are celebrating your new blessing. Some friends of ours had their second baby a few weeks ago and they thought they were having another girl, but to their surprise as well, they had a boy and are also basking in the joy that comes with their new little bundle. Babies are such a blessing!
Congrats to you! I know you must be so happy to have that sweet bundle of joy and to be off bed rest! My happy mommy moment was seeing my 4 year old boy ride his bike without training wheels and not fall even once. :) Enjoy your girl!

Congratulations!! What a happy time for you all.
My happy moment memory for the day. 35 years ago today. We had packed up all our belongings and were ready to move away for a job change. I was brand new pregnant for the first time. We stayed with friends for our last night in town and as I laid down in the bed, I felt my baby move for the first time. We moved into our new place the day before Halloween. He was born 6 1/2 months later. Just thinking about it and realized what day it was. Happy memories!

What a wonderful surprise!! Congratulations to you all! My proud Mommy moment is pretty much daily along with the silly ones ;). My sons whit and personality is sharpening every day! I'll share a silly one... He was approached by someone in a McD's the other night (my hubby and I were right by his side) and they asked "how old are you"? My son answered "5 soon I will be 6 then 20", I laughed so hard! He is also helping us demo and remodel! Such a big helper!
