Hi Moms,
I took a small hiatus from Mamapedia to check out the buzz about another website and I must say that Mamapedia is SO much more friendly.
I joined the other website about a week ago and was responding to things, as I would on this site, and with only three responses posted received very negative comments about my opinion. Now I'm not sensitive about that very often, but the responses to all of us on that post were just plain rude and uncalled for. My opinion was not stating anything other than the other moms on the post, but people felt the need to post something nasty to all who responded. I thought maybe it was a one-off and from that point moving forward decided to not respond to anything, just read posts. However, after reading more posts and seeing the way the people responded to each other decided that it was time for me to come home.
I am so glad to be home, Mamapedia! I am very grateful for all of you Mommies and for the nice, safe forum in which we are able to post.

Welcome back. This is the best site ever for help with issues. People really care.
I've not checked other websites (barely enough time to look at this one!) But I must say, I am always impressed w/ how well behaved and mostly friendly and supportive everyone is on here! So, welcome back!!!!
