Hi Mummies!! I have a 10 1/2 month old little girl and I am looking for finger food snack ideas. In between her meals, I like to give her snacks so that she can practice her co-ordination with but apart from gerber puffs and cheerios I am running out of ideas. What do you guys give your kids to munch on??

One thing that I remembered my boys loved at that age was oyster crackers. Inexpensive and they melt easily!!!
Just my little thought!!!
Good Luck
I watch my niece and she is now 18 months old but when she was younger my sister came up with this little idea. She would roll out bread so that it was smashed and flat, then she would put some of the baby food fruit on it and put another smashed piece of bread on top. They are little baby sandwiches and can then be cut into strips or cubes or however. This worked really well. Avacado is another thing that my kids loved. When they are ripe they are really easy to smash with the gums or very few teeth and they are super healthy and full of the good fats that babies need.
we did and still do a lot of fresh fruit, just watch how you cut it up, fruit snacks, we buy all natural ones, and the crackers already mentioned were big favs to. I also used to give my kids rice cakes, the mini ones, my boys called them cookies for the longest time because of the shape and who was i to argue, lol. raw veggies are always a great snack idea as well, and help create great eating habits later, my kids ASK for veggie trays whenever we have company or go someplace.
I give my daughter yo-baby yogurt, cut up fruit or veggies, cheese slices, pretzel sticks, goldfish, dried fruit, pasta pick ups and puffs. I try to stay away from the cookies and since she loves fruit and yogurt so much!
Gerber puffs and cheerios are great! Have you tried the veggie stars from Gerber. My kids still love them! Some snacks that we do a lot is Raisins, pretzels, any crackers that have grain or veggie (harvest) in them to provide some sort of nutrients. My kids love other cereals too, but I limit them because of the sugar...Cookie Crisp cereal and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal. Good Luck!
I used to cut up bananas, raisins, cheerios - my daughters would dip the cheerios in peanut butter! It was good they really liked that one... chicken noodle soup, and even add crackers in it smashed up, those gerber snacks are good, peaches, they also like to play in apple sauce, but dont be suprised if she doesnt like it a lot of kids dont because of the texture feels inside thier mouth... Well, I hope those are some good ideas...
