Hi Moms,
I've been looking for a small place to get married in collin county Tx and not having much luck. We are having a very small wedding (about 10 people) and want to get married some place other than a courthouse. Do any of you know of places we could possibly get married that would be nice but fairly inexpensive? Any advise is greatly appreciated!

no idea of cost, but we were at a small wedding (25 tops) at the Belltower at the Adriatica...they are working on a chapel as well..
Off virginia parkway West of 75..beautiful little croatian village replica...
If you don't mind going a little north of McKinney, The Bird's Nest http://www.nestingtimes.com/Site/Welcome.html is a lovely spot.
Have you thought about the Heard museum? Not sure if they do this, but an outdoor wedding under the trees would be beautiful!
Are you wanting to just have a ceremony or food, flowers??
Hello There,
We got married at the fountain just west of the squre. I lined one of the sidewalks and around the fountain with candles in clear vases (Wal-Mart & IKEA) spread rose petals all around. Free space & about $200 in decorations. I could have had any wedding I wanted, but the stress of planning it was no fun. I barrowed chairs from the Grand hotel. We walked to dinner on the square the took a carriage ride from dinner. I was so relaxed and had a beautiful wedding. I am happy to show you pictures and let you have the candle holders if you need them. Hope that helps. H. email ____@____.com
