Make sure she's not getting overtired. health Sleep Habits Happy Child is a good book to get a schedules suggestion from. If they get overtired they have trouble.
My daughter is 15 1/2 months and for the last almost 4 months we have been having issues with her sleeping. She will fall asleep okay but she does not stay asleep. Several times a week she wakes up crying and will not go back to bed for at least 30 minutes sometimes it's even over an hour. Most of the nights either we sleep on the couch with her or she sleeps in our bed.
Some nights she wakes up every hour crying. I am not sure what to do. Sleeping with her doesn't always get her to calm down.I have noticed that sometimes she sweats a lot at night and she seems to snore a lot. I don't know if these are causing her to wake up.
Any suggestions to get her to sleep through the night? Should I contact her doctor?

you don't say what her eating pattern is but my daughter had to have a bowl of cereal before bed at night. We gave her a big bowl of rice cereal when she was younger but it eventually turned into cereal and milk. it helped a lot. she was hungry in the night.
sounds to me its very dry in her room and maybe fresh air is needed, possibly humidifier. I have older step sons with asthma that cant breathe if its too hot in their room. Sometimes i crack the window a bit to seep in a little cold air. Sometimes overdressing them will also make them uncomfortable. When they are born the nursery is cold and they only have a thin blanket. A lot of people think you have to bundle kids for warmth. Think hospital. Watch for breathing problems, asthma is now uprising in every way. Hope she gets better.
Is it too hot? I have a daughter that sweats too. We keep the heat at 62...and could probably go lower for her but I have a 1 yr old that does not stay covered. Maybe lower the heat...save ya money too
As far as snoring..she may need to see an ENT...tonsils/adnoids may need to come...maybe she has sleep apnea?
R., I wish I had some awesome advice for you, but the truth is I can just commiserate. My 19 month old daughter still won't sleep through the night. Sometimes she won't sleep for more than half an hour at a stretch. I read somewhere that most sleep disorders are caused by food intolerances and the most common one is milk. So I took her off all dairy. That helped, but only a little, so I begged her doctor for help, because all he would do was tell me to let her cry it out (and after two other babies I KNEW something was not right!) and he prescribed zantac for gerd. I can't tell if that's helping yet, and I do not know your baby and how she cries, but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone! I wish for sleep, too!
