Last time I had a jewelry party, my mom liked 2 things that she said she couldn't see buying for herself... so of course I bought them both ;) Her birthday is 4 days after Christmas, so I'm giving her one for Christmas, and one for her birthday. One is a ring that 'she just liked' (and I thought it looked great on her), and the other is a pair of earrings that match a necklace she had bought a while ago. I know she likes both, but likes the earrings more.
So do I give her the earrings or the ring of Christmas, and which for her birthday?
If it were me, I would give her the one she likes more on her Birthday. never like giving the best gift first, because everything after is not as awesome.

Give her the earrings for Christmas. I usually go for the best for last but not when dealing with Christmas.
I would do the earrings for Christmas since she liked it more and it is the initial suprise that you went ahead and purchased it for her.
