does anyone have a very simple no wine recipe for shrimp scampi!!! the simpler the better!!

This one is a piece of cake and you can adjust each ingredient as you wish. Start with 2 Tablespoons butter, 3 garlic cloves cut-up or diced, put both in sauce pan on med/low heat. Add a little salt and then put your shrimpies in. Add parmesan cheese and let it "fester" on low heat. If you want more butter, add it. If you want more garlic (I love garlic) add another clove diced. More cheesy, add more parmesan.

the way I make shrimp scampi is to buy the shrimp without tails boil them boil some noodles put them together in a sauce pan with some butter, garlic & parmesae cheese.

I put saute some butter and minced garlic until you can start to smell the garlic, add a little salt and pepper and lemon juice, then add the uncooked shrimp. Heat the mixture until the shrimp are pink. The sauce is excellent to dip bread in also.
