Anybody know of a place to shred credit cards? Like anybody holding a mass shred for free event in the Algonquin or surrounding areas? Thanks!

Take a pair of scissors and cut it up.

I put part of it in the trash this week. A few other pieces next week and the balance the week after. They'd have to REALLY want that card to go through my trash three weeks in a row!

I've always shreded my own cards. Take a pair of sissors to them, destroying the magnetic strip and the numbers.

I recenlty brought a few boxes of documents to a shreadding event. They would only take paper.

I've always taken scissors to mine. I cut them up into many many pieces. Cheryl B. has a good idea with scattering the pieces through several weeks of trash.

Do it yourself. My shredder sits right by my desk and I shred everyday as needed when the mail comes in. Shredders are cheap.
