She said her lines in front of the teacher, with no help! I picked her up from preschool today and she immediately says to me, "I did it mommy, I said my lines, with no help! Thank you for showing me how!" And I asked "How did I show you?" She replies, "I did what you told me, I pretended Miss Lisa was you!" It worked, haha! Yay, one hurdle down, next, in front of the Director and next the graduation. Yes, this is a lot of pressure for a little kid! I'm so proud! Now the question :) What kind of proud moment have you had with your kiddo(s) lately??

What can I do next?

How wonderful. Congrats to you and your daughter. My proud moment happened Saturday, it was my sons first communion and they all had parts in the mass, well my son has struggled with his reading and he actually had a reading part that he read perfectly. I cried. (okay i cry at just about anything. lol) but to see his confidence to read his portion in front of the whole church was amazing to me.
very very proud moment.
many blessings to you

That is fantastic, well done to your little girl!

Yesterday our family went out to dinner at a semi-nice restaurant and my son, 6, who is autistic sat and waited very patiently for the entire time we were there. We were at the restaurant for about an hour and a half and there were no issues whatsoever from either of my two. I realize that having manners and behaving while out isn't a huge deal to most but to my son who has a plethora of issues it is a huge moment and sign of maturity.

Good for her! I hope you high 5'd her.

Me? Well... my daughter came home with a notice that she will be receiving an academic award on the last day of school. It doesn't say which subject, so that will be a surprise. (Due to Powerschool, I already know all her class scores--and she's had all A's all year). She's finishing her first year of middle school, 6th grade, next week.

I am so happy for you and your daughter; nicely done! Now that she has done it once, hopefully it will be a piece of cake from now on. I feel for her, because I have always had a problem speaking in front of a lot of people. Good for her!! :) My latest proud moment, was that my son almost got a perfect grade on his Staar test. He only missed two questions!

How awesome! Sounds like you both did a great job with that.
My little one has decided that she likes to share. She talks about it before having friends over and when she is enjoying a book or toy, she will talk about how her friend will like it too. Big improvement.
