I would love to join a playgroup in my area for my 1 year old son.
I am part of the Campbell Moms Playgroup, which is also through YahooGroups. Even though they have gotten a little slow since all the husbands came back home... lol. Otherwise I am always looking for other people to get together with...
I am on one right now called mommies of clarksville on yahoo groups. There are a few other groups on there too.We have all different ages and meet usually once a week plus several of the mom are also members of MOPS www.mops.org
I have a yahoo group I started because I didn't like all the other groups I was in cause I felt judge by the older moms. Its for mom's that are younger than 30 with younger childern so we all have something in common and don't feel treated by mothers who alasy seem to have more advice then ou ask for. its http://groups.yahoo.com/group/youngclarksvillemommies we are just starting and would like to get up to a full group and have mommy nights out along with Family events two a month on weekends. M., I don't know of any play groups in the area but I have been looking to get together w/ other parents & toddlers. I have a 3yr old son, and would love to get them together to play every so often if you are interested. It may be possible to start a play group, but I don't personally know many other parents and toddlers. Please let me know if that might work for you. Thanks!
