I cannot speak highly enough about Miss. Bloomingdale's Academy. 6 wks to kindergarten. Great nuturing environment, family run, lots of learning and playtime, including an outside facility with lots of play equipment and pool for lessons (added cost). Link here:http://www.missbloomingdales.com/

I LOVE Northcare at the North Church on Beltline (right at the Coppell/Carrollton) line. However, they are called a Kid's Day Out and the program is only Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

I'm not sure if you already have a job or not, but you could always check with them to see if they need help at the church. All the teachers/caregivers there have kids in the progam and I believe that it is FREE for all their kids, plus you'd be earning $ and have 3-day weekends. Just a thought, even though I have no idea what your current needs nor situation is, I wanted to share. Praying that you'll find just the perfect place. Many Blessings - L.

p.s. The NorthCare info is listed in the MamaSource directory along with my detail and rating.

My to oldest kids go to Discover and Share in Coppell (crossing beltline and MacArthur). I really like it there! They play a lot outside (that's one of the main reasons I chose them), so their pants are often dirty with sand. But they wash their hands often, and the bathrooms and floors are clean. But my oldest is 5, and the middle one is 3 (the youngest stays home 1,5) so I think the 11 month old do not go outside other than for a walk in a buggy. You have to ask them. Go for a tour, that's the only way to see for yourself if you like the place. Also, spent at least 20 min in the room your child will be and observe. That's no problem, and so you get a good feeling about them.
You can also look them up in Local Business rev., there are a couple of good rev. about them.

good luck, I.. Let me know if you want more info.

You can contact Rhonda Stevens of the Irving Child Care Association at ###-###-####. She'll have a list of openings for children in the local registered and listed homes in Irving.
