I have a box spring that is approx 12 years old that you can have. It has been sitting in my garage for the last 18 months or so and I have no use for it. I live in SW Dallas, near Grand Prairie if it's convenient for you.
My mom has gotten a few frames at CCA before, so maybe you could try there. Good luck ~A.~
Also, try freecycle.
I recently purchased a new bed frame for my guest bedroom last month. We purchased a QN bed and had it sitting on a DLX bedframe w/ wheels prior to this. The new frame does not require the matress to sit on the box spring and I now longer need the frame. We purchase the be for my parents in November of 2006. The bed has only been us 1/2 a dozen times. If you are interested right me back. Because it's in mint condition and barely used I'd like $100 for both items.
I have a frame for you if you are still interested. Please email me back. We live in Little Elm. Hope I can help.
Please contact me - I know someone that has one you could have for free. She is planning on getting rid of it this weekend, so please let me know if you are interested.
