I'm sorry that you have to get rid of your bed, it sounds beautiful.....maybe you can sell it on that "Craig's List" or in the newspaper. I feel your pain though, I've had neck surgery 2x, shoulder surgery, elbow, etc....my point is it became impossible for me to sleep most nights. I was told about the "Tempur-Pedic" beds by my docs, but they were sooo expensive but I found that Sealy makes their version, the "Posture Pedic" which is still not cheap but about 1/2 and bought one about a year ago - it's awesome to say the least, and worth every penny! The beds have a very long life and warranty to go with it, unlike the foam/filled mattresses.
Tween years are very difficult, so filled with emotions - she's trying to separate herself from her parents as we all must do, but it's scary to do! I raised 2 girls, now 19 and 22 through the tweens - the oldest was fine, the youngest is still a mess sometimes, we just never know how life will turn out for each child, at some point we have to trust them to make good choices based on the solid education we gave them while they were growing up - to make them on their own when we aren't around.....that's the tough part......Keep talking to her, but mostly LISTEN to what she says and what she isn't saying out loud....and trust your instincts, they're usually correct.
