I am looking for a good private school in the Montgomery or Conroe area for my son. My son has almost completed Kindergarten at a public school in MISD. I would like to put him in a school that has a smaller student to teacher ratio. Does anyone know of a good school that you would recommend?
My daughter goes to First Baptist Church in Conroe. She will be in pre-K next year, but two of my nieces were in 3rd and 1st grade there last year and they loved it. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and she has learned a lot. The student/teacher ratio is very small. The teachers are all wonderful and everyone is very friendly. Hello! I don't know if you wanted a private Christian school or not but my children attend Lifestyle Christian School. It is located on I-45 north in Conroe next to Cracker Barrel in the Assembly of God building. Lifestyle goes from K-5 to 12th grade. They use the abekka Curriculum. I am very please with the education my children are receiving here. The church also has a Daycare "The Depot" for ages 18months to K-4.

I live in Montgomery also. We are going to be sending our son to Northland Christian School because my husband went there. The original campuses are located 1960, but I heard from a friend who already had a child there that they were supposed to build a campus in the Woodlands. I have not researched any other schools in the Conroe area, but I thought I saw that one of the new churches located near 45 and League Line road offer private school. It may be worth checking out! I think one of them is the First Assembly of God and I think the other one may be a Baptist or Methodist church, but they are both on 45.
