Seeking Preschools in the Pasadena/Eagle Rock Area.

Hi I.. Our almost 3 year old daughter has been going to Celebration Kids in South Pasadena since she was 2. She loves it and we love it. They are located on Arroyo Verde and Monterey Road. I hear good things about the Montessori in Eagle Rock.

The Pasadena Waldorf School in Altadena. It's a beautiful school in an old Mansion with a beautifully landscaped lot. I am not sure of the age requirement. But they have a wonderful philosophy, very creative.

My older son is finishing his third year at St George's in La Canada. My younger son will start there in the fall. I could not be happier, it is a wonderful program and I have met so many great families there. It is a very developmental preschool that fosters social development through play.
My son is in the pre-k which is truly fantastic.
You can contact Cherie McSweeney to see if there are spaces still available. I know that we had a large number of girl applicants this year so I don't know if there is space or not. She tries to balance each class with boys and girls. Good Luck. There are many great pre-schools in the La Canada area you might want to start your search there. I also hear wonderful things about Sunrise in Pasadena. I know a number of people there.
