I highly recommend Bartlett Baptist. They *may* have a waiting list. We have attended BB for two years now and can not say enough good things about their program.

I am looking for good quality day care (preschool) in the Wolfchase area of Bartlett for my two grandkids, ages 3 1/2 and 20 months (a boy and a girl). They are both bright and loving, but small for their ages.
The daycares I contacted had a waiting list, or were more expenpensive than my daughter could afford for two, but she has a friend in need of a new job. Since the friend has a son only a few months younger than my grandson and she has preschool teaching experience, it will work out great for her to cone to our house and help with the kids - and housecleaning - for the price of daycare alone. Thank you all for your help. Many of those you gave me were not listed in the phone book and word of mouth recommendations mean so much more.

Hi J.:
Sorry for the delayed response, but I am a little behind on my e-mail.
I can recommend my daycare. It's a state licensed and monitored home daycare. The owner/care provider's name is Miss Kenny Bowen (my 2.5 year old loves her). Depending on the ages of the children she can keep up to 7 children so, it is an ideal environment for one-on-one learning. She has a formal curriculum in place and my 2 1/2 year old gets exposed to arts, crafts, reading, singing, play time, nap time, etc. just like any other day care but in a smaller, home environment. The children are always happy and just the other day, I had to literally drag my son with me b/c he did not want to leave at the end of the day.
Anyway, if you are still in need and are interested, her number is ###-###-####. Her home is located just off Appling near the Wolfchase area in Bartlette. Another place for you to consider is "We Love Kids" (off G'twon Pkway and Hwy 64) I've never used them but know plenty of people who have and they have very good things to say about them.
Good Luck,
E.
I am not sure if it is too far but I know the owner of ABC Daycare in Arlington personally. She (Claudia) and her husband, former mayor of Arlington adopted 2 of my biological siblings and they are wonderful people. Also most of the employees there are family members. Good luck in your search!!!
I highly recommend KinderCare in Cordova. My daughter just turned 2 last week and has attended there since she was 16 months old. She knew all of her colors at 21 months and sings songs all the time - all the words - to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc. and can already sing the ABC song all the way through and count to 10. The instructors are very caring to her and have helped us through transitions with her very well. The director's name is Ms. Bonnie.
Trafalgar Baptist, right outside of Bartlett, off of Summer Avenue is a fabulous church-based day care and preschool. They have been around since 1973, and offer great, quality care. You should check them out. ###-###-####.
i have gotten a good review regarding kindercare in bartlett off stage and bartlett blvd. i have spoken with them regarding sending my own kids there as well and they seem wonderful. i am not sure about the cost for full time, but i got a quote for three full days a week and it was $108 per child for mine (they are about to turn 4).
