Have any of you either had a party or been to a party with a petting zoo or pony rides. That is the request of my 4-year-olds next birthday party and I need to see if it is going to even be a possibility financially. Any contacts would be helpful. I haven't had much luck searching the internet or area magazines and papers. Thanks in advance for your help!!

I went to a birthday party at a small petting zoo at Fritz Park in Irving. They had pony rides as well. I'm not sure if they hired the pony guy separate, but I'm sure someone at Fritz Park will have more info on that. Here's a link. This place is awesome! I don't know what your budget is but here is the website. www.sharkarosa.com I have been there once and it is just so cool. The kids would love it.
We use Westland Ranch for all of our events (I work for Haltom City). We've used them for years - they are professional, lots of fun for the kids, and very reasonably priced. Their website is www.westlandranch.com. They have a petting zoo with pony rides combo that runs about $175/hour. Talk to Becky - she is wonderful. They take great care of the kids and clean up afterwards:) Good luck!
i found this one, it looks pretty good. just a word of advice, i'm not sure if these places will have down drop clothes or not but just be prepared for a lot of "droppings" :) good luck.
I googled traveling petting zoo DFW and got a lot of hits. I am looking at that for my daughters 4th B-day as well.
