I was wondering if there were any playgroups in Farmington area or if anyone was interested in starting something. I have a 2 year old boy and would love for him to have some friends to play with. I would be happy to organize and host a playgroup once a week.
Look up your locals MOMS club.. check out the website at www.momsclub.com for a contact. I found it a great resource when my kids were younger. Good luck.

Have you tried the Farmington Newcomers & Neighbors group? They have many activities as well as playgroups divided by age. check them out on the web - http://farmington.brinkster.net/ (no www).

The Farmington Library has some wonderful programs for kids and a play time every Friday morning called tots and tunes. It is a great place to meet lots of moms from Farmington and the surrounding towns.

Have you looked into see if Farmington has a Family Resource Center (FRC) group. Lots of towns have them and their a great place to meet other mom's.
