Seeking Playgroup in Calera, AL

There is a breastfeeding support group in Alabaster/Pelham on Thursdays from 11-12. It is supported by Brookwood Hospital. We are a pretty close group and often do a lot of things outside of the designated times such as playdates, lunches and such. We are not a group of Breastfeeding Nazis or anything, so even if you don't breastfeed you are welcome to check it out. We meet at the Urgent Care facililty in on HWY 31 in Pelham. We meet and weigh our babies and talk about mommy stuff. There are many who have weened and have older toddlers, so its a great place to ask questions and get advise. Its so good to be assured that you are not the only one going through the trials of being parents!

I am the president of our chapter of MOMS Club, a group for SAHMs that meets during the week for all kinds of activities, including playgroups. I would also like to find a playgroup. I am a 27 year old SAHM of 2 girls, 7 and 3. I live about 5 miles from Calera and my husband is a firefighter for Calera.
