I'm currently pregnant with twins and due within 3 - 4 weeks. I've been on the hunt for a pediatrician in the Westborough area for a couple months but have been unable to find one that is accepting new patients. Anyone LOVE their pediatrician who is willing to pass their name and number along?!

What can I do next?

Depending on where you are in Westboro, you could try Southboro Medical Group on Newton Street in Southboro. They have a great pediatric practice. My children see Dr. Lisa Hassler, but I also like Dr. Dugan. You can go to southboromedical.org and see the list of peditricians.

Good luck.

I take my twins to Dr McCartney at Southboro Medical.
She is fantastic. They are now 3.5 and I also take their younger brother to her as well.

Consider joining our twin mom's group (www.wscmmota.org).

Congrats and good luck!

We've used Dr. LouAnn Maffei ("MAFF-ee") for 19 years - my son just went off to college, so maybe she has an opening now - LOL. She used to have a partner, Dr. Bob Basow "BASS-ow", who now has his own practice in Hopkinton (I think) - he is awesome. My neighbor, Raisa (rah-EE-sa) Gaines is also a pediatrician in Westboro and she's really nice and I know a number of people who have used her for years. Maffei is part of Southboro Medical, which is nice - if you need lab work or an xray, you just shoot over to Southboro instead of having to go to a hospital. She has a partner now, Dr. Waugh, whom I've only seen once but he seems very nice.

S.,

Here's the link to Southborough Medical's Westborough Pediatric Group. I can't say enough about how great they've been. My daughter is three and sees Dr. DiAngelis, who we both really love. My daughter has also been seen by Dr. Maffei and many of the other pedicatricians at both the Westborough office and Southborough office. They're hours are fantastic. They have evening hours and weekend hours for urgent care. We've called them late at night on the weekdays and weekends and they're always quick to respond. Good luck!

If you continue striking out in Westboro, we go to Dr. Steven Greer at Comunity Pediatrics in Milford ###-###-####). Another MD in the practice is Dr. Burdulis (woman) who is also wonderful.

I know it's not ideal b/c it's a few exits down I-495... but they are great, and if you don't find anyone in your area they are great MDs, and the practice has early morning and evening hours too. There are other MDs in the practice but I've never seen them.
