Seeking OB GYN in Lewisville/Denton

I just found out today that my current OBGYN is no longer a network provider for BCBS-HMO Blue Texas. I've been going to her for quite awhile now and she delivered my daughter in 11/06. I'm bummed and just don't know how to find someone new.
Does anyone out there know of a good OBGYN around Lewisville/Denton who accepts HMO Blue Texas insurance?? I delivered my daughter at Denton Regional, but that was mostly b/c my OBGYN had privileges there and not at the Medical Center of Lewisville. I'd appreciate any recommendations...thank you in advance!!

What can I do next?

Dr. Rudy Tovar delivered my twins at Med. Ctr. of Lewisville (he is actually the Chief of Staff there, too)in June 2005. I thought he was a great doctor and although I will be having no more children I would still use him for routine gyn care. His office is just behind the hospital on Main Street.

Dr. Bradley Axline is an AWESOME OB/GYN. I have been with him for 4 years and through 2 pregnancies. He will come in and sit down with you and talk about whatever you need. He listens very carefully and is genuinely concerned with your well-being. I love him!!!
He even let my husband deliver our sons!! (He stood behind my husband and coached him through the process)
I had some serious work related stress issues with my last pregnancy (I had an unreasonable boss) and Dr. Axline sat and listened as I cried and told him what was going on at work. He got bent about what my boss was doing to me and wrote me a note to go on maternity leave early.
He is just awesome.
The practice is called Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates of Lewisville. Their office is in the Lewisville Medical Center.
And yes, they do take BCBS - I have the same insurance.

I love Dr. Axline, but I have friends who go to other Dr.s in the same office and they say the same about their Dr.s.
I guess it is just a really good practice. I highly recommend them.
Good Luck!!

J.,

My OB/GYN was Dr. Andrea Galusha who has an office in the Medical Center of Lewisville. I delivered my 1st child(son) in 12/06 with her at the Medical Center of Lewisville. I'm not sure if she accepts your insurance, but check it out if you get a chance. She was very nice and was great during the delivery. Let me know how it goes and good luck.

Sincerely,

K. O.

I agree with the post below- Dr. Axline is THE BEST, hands down! He delivered both of my children, and is now about to deliver my 3rd! Dr. Gallusha, who was also mentioned below by one of the responders, is a part of the same practice- she is also good, but nothing will compare to Dr. Axline! Also, Medical Center of Lewisville is SO MUCH better than Denton Regional!!!! You will have a great experience there. The # for Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates of Lewisville is ###-###-####...good luck!
