Liquor stores have always been my best bet when I have moved around. The boxes are sturdy and perfect size for not having boxes get too heavy.
Hello. We are moving in 2 weeks and are looking for moving boxes. We purchased some at Home Depot, but we need alot and don't want to pay $3/box. I have searched craigslist already. I was wondering if anyone was selling their recently used boxes or knows of anywhere to get inexpensive moving boxes? Thanks!

Hi S.,
You can check craigslist under For Sale --->FREE and you can find posts written by people who just moved and left their moving boxes in the alley. I think it's worth checking!
Jewel always has lots of boxes they are willing to get rid of. Usually near the dairy department there is an entrance/exit area the workers go through, and u can ask one of them if u could have some boxes.
Are you using a moving company? If so, they usually give free boxes.
Good luck!
Why not ask at the local grocery store for boxes? If you know what day they get deliveries I am sure they would give you some.
I have moved a lot, and my advice is grocery stores and furniture stores and such. Sometimes on the side or behind their stores they have some. Also if you let them know at some stores they'll save them for you when they unpack at night. Sunset Foods always has them in the front of their store, but I'm not sure if there is one close enough to you.
I just checked with my husband and we have some boxes you could have. We moved to this house less than a year ago, had our fourth baby, etc. so if you can believe it we're still unpacking!
