My husband recently had a vasectomy reversal after we decided that our daughter deserves to have a sibling. Does anyone out there have any advice or information about what can enhance our chances of becoming pregnant soon. I am not getting younger and we would really love to become pregnant soon. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

My husband did not have a vasectomy reversal, but it did take us a while to get pregnant. When we were trying all the advice I read said we should have sex every other day. This did not work for us at all. The thing that worked was using an ovulation kit and having sex everyday around the time you ovulate (about 4 days before and then after it says yes another day or two).

C.,
Though I & my husband did not have the same problem as yourself & your husband, it did take us a very long time to get pregnant. In fact we even went to a fertility doctor. To make a long story very short what we had to do was mostly "relax" & not worry about getting pregnant at all. That was my biggest thing. Because I thought I was never going to get there.
Anyway, along with relaxing/not stressing about getting pregnant, we also used the thermometer method. Which if you haven't been told yet, is basically using a thermometer, & every time your temp is up, your ovulating. Well when I was, I would then call my husband to come home, we would do the deed (again no stress with it, as in: "worrying if this time it would take"). And wow before we knew it I was pregnant! It was amazing.
I think also that you can pick up a kit of some sort like this at a local drugstore. Or rather in our case (cause we are over seas) I order a lot of things thru Amazon & Walmart or Target. I have found that a lot of places will in fact ship to us over here. We just have to look at there shipping area first before ordering.
Or do what I did & just buy a regular thermometer & calendar & write it down on a daily basis.
I do hope this information helps you out.
Good Luck to you & your expanding family,
N.

Try an ovulation kit. I personally know three people who were having problems conceiving. They all tried ovulation kits and it worked for them. My mom and my cousin were two of them and both their husbands had vasectomy reversals. I now have a beautiful little sister and the most handsome little second cousin you could ask for. lol. I wish you the best of luck and hope you will take my advice and try it. Good Luck!

I agree, that the ovulation kit is the easyest way to monitor your cycle. Second, if you have trouble, as my husband and I did, talk to your doctor. There are fertility pills that simply regulate your ovulation and make more than one egg drop at a time, both increasing your chances of success. I am not sure how quickly they prescribe the pills but thought I would give you the knowledge of something else simple to do. Good luck.
