Well as of Wednesday I have lost my job,I am not sure what to do as this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I filled out some applications online and I have a typing test scheduled for Monday but I just dunno what to do. I have never been in this position before. Any advice?

What can I do next?

You see..this is exactly why I have started my own business. We just never know when it will be our turn to lose our job. We never know when life will happen. We never know if we or our husbands will get sick...or even our children. WE just never know. I may be young...but I saw this happen to us, to my close friends, to my neighbors, to complete strangers. There is a quote that I just love...
"We need to be living as if each day is our last, but planning as though it will last for a hundred years."

I think that we all need a PLAN B. We all need something that we can invest time or money in so that it will slowly or fastly build. I didn't have the money to invest in stocks, etc...That's why I chose a company that I could build and it all be up to me!

I pray that you find something that makes you and your family happy.

You are in my prayers!

My family of four spent an entire year in your situation. We tried everything...pray is all I can say. Everything turned around for us once we gave it to God.

i know it's hard. been there, done that... losts of times. all you can do is keep putting applicantions in. Don't be affraid to include a resume. It's really hard at first... but it gets better. My husband lost his job when I was 8 months pregnant because he had to have emergency surgery... his job fired him because he didn't have enough "sick days" to cover the amount of time he'd be out. We filied for unemployment. Neither of us had a job for about 2 months. Neither one of us could work. It put us WAY behind on bills that we're still paying for and my son is almost 6 months old. It is really hard, but it does get better. My husband has a wonderful job as an auto cad drafter, and I just got a night job at Lowe's as a cashieer. It may be hard to find a job that suits your needs, but i've learned that you can't be too pickey... if the job sucks but pays well.. go for it....as long as it doesn't stress you out too much. I'll pray for you!!!

The Sunday paper is a good start. Depending on what your looking for you can always look at specific places (Ex. Hopsitals)they usually have a job board online.
Good Luck!
