i dont know anything personally but friends have played through dittmar rec center near slaughter and manchaca. if there is nothing online you can go in person to pick up an information packet about all their programs.
My little boy will be 3 in September. We've talked about t-ball. Do any of you mamas know who to contact to find out about signing up for t-ball or some other fun sports thing for a little boy? We live in South Austin and I haven't been able to find anything online. Thanks.

i have 3 kiddos - 2 boys ages 10 & 6 and a 2 year old girl - my boys both play ball (1 t-ball, 1 coach pitch) at oak hill (OHYSA) www.ohysa.com -- you may also want to look into soccer (they can usually start that younger) and both boys play through austin united capital soccer club (AUCSC) www.austinsoccer.org -- yet another option is flag football which both of my boys play through www.nflyouthfootball.com -- good luck!!!
My son hasn't started playing but I have a friend whose son has played the last couple of years with the South Austin Baseball League. They have really been happy with it. The link is below but it doesn't look like they can start until they are 5. Maybe shoot them an email and see if they know of any leagues that let them start earlier. Good luck!

If you are in South Austin one of the best programs is through Manchaca Optimist. They have a wonderful complex. Their website is moysc.org. My daughter played there for 6 years.
We also played at South Austin Optimist but wasn't as impressed with that program.
I also hear wonderful things about Oak Hill. Good Luck!
My kids used to play T-ball, among other sports, at Dittmar Rec Center, always reasonably priced. Heres the website: http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/parks/dittmar.htm.
